Geoff Keighley isn't the only one with gaming news!

Hey there again, everyone. Here's what I've been up to lately.

So, there's been a lot of things I've been tinkering with and thinking over. Character interactions, model touch-ups, etc. Then I remembered "hey, you said you would stop working on tons of things at once and focus on smaller updates". So I pulled things back a little so I could deliver on one of the things that I already said was coming to the game: the return of Dr. Bananahead's Weight Loss Clinic.

Soon you will no longer have to go through the inconvenience that is editing your save file whenever you wanna shed some wobbs. As seen in the video above, Bananahead will allow you to take off weight in specific areas, like before. But you will also be able to change all the body types of your citizens as well (the prices in the video aren't final. Still figuring out what feels fair).

But that's not all

If you want to lose weight a bit more "naturally". You will be able to do that too. You can now also make your citizens exercise (starting @ 1:13 in the video). They can keep going as long as they have stamina (the new green bar at in the bottom HUD). Stamina can also be upgraded with level up lollipops. Currently, exercising burns 5 wobbs every 20 seconds. I might fiddle with that some more if that seems low. Unlike Bananahead's clinic, exercise also gives your citizen XP. So there's a give and take to each method. Currently you can make your citizens jog, do jumping jacks, squats, and dance (1 of 4 dances is chosen at random). Depending on the shape of your citizen, stuff might look a bit funky, but there's only so much I can do about that, heh.

This is what the crux of 1.2 will be. I'll see what else I can add within the next week or so and hopefully have something ready for you all by next weekend or the weekend after. If you have any suggestions or questions, feel free to comment!

Awesome, seems like a great way to be able to experiment with different body sizes and distribution without making an entirely new character for it.

Cool stuff, yet again
