✦ I Paused May's Billing Cycle and Why! ✦ (Patreon)

⋆ To get to the point, I've paused the billing cycle for this Month because I want to go on a half-hiatus on work on personal works I've been meaning to do! 

Because of that, I can't guarantee I will be posting enough this Month to make it worth paying for. Nor am I going to guarantee Streaming either. May will be focusing on changing Discord and Patreon, like I'm going under-construction for a bit and will reopen later when I'm finished! ^^

⋆ Why am I changing things? 

Because I've been constantly burntout. I do work a full-time job. When I started I had an easier part-time job and less happening in my life. As time went on, I had a lot of personal and finacial issues that caused me to want to overwork myself and burn myself out for over a year now. 

During the past I've experianced my car being stolen with repairs costing over 4k after getting a new car, relationship issues, family issues, internet harassment, personal mental issues and severe anxiety, moving out and job change that took months to get, and general stress over Patreon and commission work. 

I love working on art but I have to accept that if I keep going without getting so burnout that I will try to avoid what I do. Currently, I feel like art has become stressful I need to stop things for a bit so I can get back on track with enjoying it again. 

⋆ What changes will happen?

I will be adding a 1$ "Tip Tier" to Patreon. 

As far as the current Tier, it will remain mostly the same but I will add specifics to the Streaming. I really liked doing a weekend long Stream with Requests, but I will add that the Streams will not be guaranteed for every week and rather I'd make a goal for at least x2 Long Streams per Month that members can join in to request a sketch for. Streams in general for working on projects will be available in Public channels. 

So now the "Adventurer Tier" is specifically for getting sketch work on Streams, Early Access, Behind the Scenes work, and the special secret secret area on Discord. Mostly the same, but the most incentivizing thing is being changed.

Patreon will have a new look as well! 

Discord will be changing how people join on (won't need to DM me). I wasssss going to delete the Patreon area of the discord but it will remain. I know the Streams are fun for you all and I'd feel bad getting rid of those. 

Gift Art hasn't been a thing on the Tiers for a bit but I will be adding them to Discord! There will be a bot that you can react to to join and everyone will have a chance to be drawn! The art will range from sketch to flat color depending on how busy I am. 

⋆ How will this help?

Even though it doesn't seem like TOO much is changing, these updates will take pressure off of me. My focus is to take better care of myself and to build a bigger community. I used to prioritize Patreon and had a goal I wanted to obtain but that ended up burnign me out too. 

Once everything is more stable, I will open more Tiers. Ultimately though, I would need to hit a certain amount on Patreon in order to focus on it more. Sadly what I've been doing has been too much. In the future, I'll reveal that, but for now money isn't my goal. I want people to feel like what they pay now is fair and what I work on doesn't burn me out. I would rather have fun with this space then to earn a lot. 

⋆ Anything else?

I'll also just be doing personal project this round! Been needing to do a new header for my different platforms, make Refs, and more.

In summary, I'm on a simple hiatus for updates that I hope everyone will like! I won't be disappearing but I will be slower and quiet at least on Patreon because I'll be busy with updating!

I hope this is alright with everyone! I do hate feeling like I can't stick to plans and I very confident these changes will help me feel better and make the server more fun! ^^
