I love this tutorial and would like to try it. Unfortunately I don't have most of the paints. What would be Vallejo Model Color equivalents?

Hey Henry, If you could help a bit, I am STRUGGLING with my oil washes. I feel like they keep separating on the model, instead of sinking into the recesses. Am I glossing the model too much? Am I diluting the oils too heavily? If anyone else wants to chime in as well, I’d love the help. Thanks, all!

I had a similar problem but that happens when I wasn't apply the gloss evenly through the airbrush (no consistent pressure). I haven't had that problem in a long time.

Hey Rick, could be to do with uneven finish like Mike said but if you don't feel thats the case, then my guess would be that it could have something to do with your oil seperating before you actually apply it. Sometimes the pigment starts to sink to the bottom of the thinner in whatever container you use to mix. Solutions: make sure to give it a good stir right before applying to make sure the pigment is mixed in with your filler. And if you are using a very cheap oil paint, I've heard the pigment size can be quite large which would exacerbate the problem. I hope that helps, kind of a tricky one to answer without seeing in person but that's my best guess based on my experience :)
