Hi all,

It's time to record the next episode. I've combined a few of the questions we didn't answer in the Q&A along with some other thoughts on how we think we've become better painters and what we'd recommend to others, whether they are just starting out or already well into their painting journey.

See you there at 2000 BST!!

Culture of Paint Episode 9: How to be a better painter?

Welcome to another episode of Culture of Paint! A regular, fortnightly show where we discuss all things to do with the miniatures painting community. In this show we’ll be taking a look at what’s caught our eye in the miniatures painting world in the past few weeks, we’re taking a look at what we feel makes us better painters, and as usual we’ll be taking questions from the live audience and seeing what our #paintcultist’s have been up to. If you'd like us to feature your work make sure to tag us with #paintcultist Timestamps 00:00 Deorgard late pledges - https://cultofpaint.pledgemanager.com/projects/deorgard/participate/?ref=youtube

Hi all, I recently joined the patreon and learning a lot, almost too much. I'm mostly a DM and my joy comes from painting something and seeing the reaction from my players when the mini get revealed in an encounter. The atmosphere of the mini and terrain really influences the immersion of the encounter. Most of my minis are 3D printed and there are a wealth of amazing talented sculptors on MyMiniFactory and Patreon creating some amazing minis. I love Lord Of The Print, Archvillain Games, and Mini Monster Mayhem, to name but a few. Would love to hear what you think of the rise of the talented sculptors and how they and 3d printing are changing the hobby. Keep up the great work.
