Hi everyone. Big week for us, we got our 200th Patron!! Oh and a new version of 40k is coming out.

We're really lucky to be given access to models early so we want to commit to making sure we share as much as we can with you, by creating useful tutorials on them wherever possible. 

So whilst it's gonna be pretty 40k heavy for the next couple weeks (with a lot of extra content!) we'll make sure the subjects covered are useful for all kinds of painting projects.

How well does brushing the colour on work? I’ve got some small armour panels, bloodbowl figures, that I’d like to have a candied finish and I don’t have faith in my masking skills

Not brilliantly. If I was brushing then I’d look to the gw contrast paints. If not shiny enough then a thinned brushed on coat of gloss varnish would sort that.
