Hey folks, we're here with another updated release, just in time for us to roll over into the next month. This time around, we've focused on polishing the stealth gameplay in the first mission, just to build the framework for future content. We've got a lot of things done in the background, and we're going to be making an effort to overhaul the meat of the game by our next release.

Here's a look at the changelog:

===

- Adding stealth mechanics:

Jump & grab onto floating objects to hide

Line of sight code for Security with scriptable range, angles and fields of view.

Scriptable AI pathing

- Mockup first mission

- Forward hop mechanic (while running with [shift], jump to hop forward)

- Completely rework land and air momentum

- Minor tweaks to running/jumping/climbing to reflect changes in momentum

- Remove warping/tweening on idle NPCs

- Begin cleanup of District D10 NPCs in preparation for next month's update

- Address memory leak on District D10 (while simultaneously improving texture quality)

In terms of substantial h-content, look forward to v0.05, where we'll be adding a lot of needed story and art. We'll be catching up to certain tier rewards as well, such as our monthly commissions. Overall, v0.04 is a pretty substantial update for us in the background, since we've personally overcome a lot of obstacles to get to this point in such a small amount of time. But for those who can't wait for the smut, v0.05 is where it'll be at!

I figured I'd give my two cents. First off, the forward hop was really needed, in previous builds it felt like I was an android with arthritis so this is a welcome change. One little glitch I noticed is that when you run up to the edge of a platform and hold a directional key off of that platform while holding shift and hit jump you wind up for the big upward jump but just end up doing the side hop. Kind of a weird glitch. I understand that you cleaned up D10 but right now it feels a bit empty, I liked the previous vibe where it felt like it was full of life. Maybe add some non-interactive npcs that just walk around, to make it feel more bustling with life? Next, you really need to add in a list of controls into the game, I know most of this stuff is intuitive and that there's a list of controls at in the pre-launcher but it'd be nice to have nonetheless. Next, when you jump onto those little drones in the mockup stealth mission it feels like you should be able to jump off them, like if you hold a direction key and the jump button you'd launch yourself off them instead of just clumsily climbing down? Also it'd be nice if you could take down those security bots somehow, maybe by hacking them or something? Just an idea. Oh yeah, one more thing, the title screen still has version 0.03 in it, might want to remember to change that in future updates. So, that's my two cents. Take it for what you will.
