Hey folks, we're just in time for December's updated release, and the first patron-only release. We've fixed up a lot of things internally, with a few bits of new content here and there. Next month we'll be tackling some more of the major issues, namely cleaning up that hubworld for good, and adding additional places to explore.

Here's the changelog for this month's release:

===

Additions/Edits:

- Fix input handling to comply with Unity's Axes (allows custom controls panel to work)

-- Theoretically also enables controller support

- Add main menu/menu navigation

- Persistent game data (autosave/load)

- Gallery for viewing CGs

- Cheats menu ; )

-- Use LRLRLRLR to disable all active cheats

- ESC to return to main menu from gameplay

- Change font and dialog box

- Misc sprite updates for Morgan (Assistant) and Security Guard

- Added Horse Officer (left of spawn point, includes 2 CGs)

Bugfixes:

- Improve texture quality in mission area

- Add proper run cycle (Hold LShift to run)

- Play land animation on interrupted "climb down"

- No longer possible to "climb" on thin air by jumping towards the top of a ladder

- Adjust air momentum for sprint ability

- Security guard downed animation no longer visible before CG plays

- Fix text placement when no speaker avatar is present.

We're excited to implement a lot of the things shown off this month proper, since there wasn't a ton of time to do it this holiday season. I hope you guys look forward for the next release, where we're planning to overhaul a few things that need a definitive clean-up.

I'm sure there was a reason for it, but I have to ask why it went from static avatars to the constant warping effect for them? Seems like a change that detracts from the quality of the art itself.

We're working things out as we go in terms of visuals - what effects to add, what needs to be changed, etc. The warping is something we wanted to test for 'idle' animations, but we agree in that it doesn't really fit with the rest of the game.
