As a huge Falcons fan, this breakdown was enlightening. It shocks me that after getting to the Superbowl we did regress this much. I've also heard statements that the offense doesn't give the defense a break either, something that Shanahan did well when he coached. Thoughts?

Very hit or miss in that area. Early in the year their edge run defense was awful, but that’s gotten slightly better. They still have lots of discipline problems on early downs though

I do wish that they could get the run going a bit more and really emphasize draining the clock. The more they keep that defense off the field the better, because that defense ABSOLUTELY WILL lose them close games.
