Also, just to let you know, the cinematic masterpiece Ben-Hur from 1959 has just recently come to HBO Max. Might check it out sometime. It won 11 academy awards. It has great acting, a great script, the technical aspects of the film are amazing. Is a big long epic though. It’s 3hours and 42 minutes, but it’s definitely worth the watch. Thought you might like it.

i watched it i didnt like it but u might ... maybe it woulda been better if i didnt watch it in prison.. then again there was alot of high concept things going on..... BUT you need to know at least a little but about arthurian legend to make it good

Anonymous

I still have yet to see it, but I hear really good things about it and really want to see it so, yes.

Matthew

I struggle to define it. It's beautifully filmed, from costumes to setting, atmospheric but a bit unsettling.

The srtuggle i think….maybe not for you….but if you go into it not knowing anything about the characters…you become lost….ive watched shows and books….on king arthur merlin morgana…and this movie…was abstract….like you say a struggle..worth a watch if your into king arthur…but wholey confusing if not

Matthew

"Abstract" is a great description. I'm pretty familiar with the Arthurian legends, but there were moments I had to look up just to be sure I didn't remember them differently.
