The Directors Cut is better than the butchered studio cut. A definite watch along if you do react.

The series is better than the movie, but I think the movie is worth it as well. Not amazing but a good, fairly unique movie.

Yes! If you do, then I’d suggest also watching the HBO miniseries from a couple of years ago, which is an even better adaptation. One of my favorite shows from the last decade. (Plus it would be a short, easy and enjoyable watch for the channel)

1000 times yes. It isn’t perfect but it’s an amazing dissection on superheroes and how they would actually be in the real world. Think The Boys but the heroes are more sympathetic (but still not role models at all).

A big YES for me, definitely underrated, a video game came out for this movie, never played it but the movie is a definite good time watch.

I'd recommend watching the EXTENDED version of the movie, and then following it up with the tv series.

I feel that people should state/realize that there are 3 versions of the movie. The first is the theatrical version. The second is the director's cut, likely what most people are recommending. The third is the Ultimate Cut, which is the director's cut combined with the animated "Tales of the Black Freighter " making it the closest to the original graphic novel. Choose wisely.

One thing to note is that if you move on to the TV show after the movie (the show is also very good), read up on how the graphic novel ends first, as they go off that ending rather than the film's, which differs quite a bit.

I highly recommend to watch The Director's Cut out of all of the versions, even Zack Snyder himself said to go with that version out of all of the cuts. The Ultimate Cut I personally recommend only to those who love the Graphic Novel (or want to see more) as it has the animated story 'Tales of the Black Frieghter' intercut into the film. This for me personally works better in the Graphic Novel. In regards to the TV series I haven't see yet but heard its very good and do have it ready to watch when I have the time. But yes with the versions The Director's Cut for sure.

If you mean the HBO series, then yes! FUCK YES!!! Arguably better than the source material, and miles better than Zack Snyder's adaptation.

Hope you are referring to tge Zack Snyder film. I thought the series was terrible. But it's all subjective of course.
