It's funny, when you posted this one, for some reason I thought I'd already watched it. Then later in the day, I was bored so I thought I would rewatch it. What a nice surprise to realize it was another reaction I'd watched and I hadn't seen this one. LOL This is one of the best reactions to this movie I've seen. Your reaction to the reveal that Arnie was the good guy this time was priceless. There are a lot of people who go into the first Terminator film thinking Arnold is the good guy and then being shocked when he isn't. This movie is why. I think what happens is people pick up somewhere about this movie that he's good, but they lack context or details and end up thinking it's the first film, that he starts out good. Sometimes they get to this one and you can see it click. It's neat. So, you remember how in the comments on the first one, I said that normally I'm able to confidently say people will like the second one better than the first, but with you I wasn't so sure. I had two primary reasons for this. One, when I saw how into Sarah and Kyle you were, and knowing how much you like romance mixed with sci-fi, I was afraid you'd be let down with the lack of romance in this one. And two, there is a fairly sizable chunk of the fandom that just doesn't like Edward Furlong's (the kid's) acting. A lot of people say kids don't talk that way. That's the thing, they sometimes did back then. I'm super glad I didn't have anything to worry about and you did love this movie. You made me so happy, Mary. What a fantastic reaction to one of my favorite movies of all time.

Oh, shoot, yeah, I forgot to say that in my comment. I can see the others being a letdown for you, Mary. There is a possibility that you will think the third is okay, and there are a few things in it that are cool, things I can't say for spoilers in case you decide to watch, but they don't make up for the much weaker story and awkward characterization. After that, they just go down from there. I've seen the others ruin the first two for people.

your reaction was so amazing. i was so giddy watching knowing you were not aware of the twist that the t 800 is good in this. tons of fun and laughs. and also you enjoying all the robotic talk of the terminator was hilarious :))))

Like others have said, the other movies aren't all that great. However, there's a 2 Season Sarah Connor TV Show that's actually quite good, Summer Glau who plays River in Firefly is one of the Terminators there. Unfortunately Linda Hamilton isn't Sarah Connor in it, but Lena Headey from Game of Thrones does a good portrayal of her.

I hope you watch Terminator 3. It is entertaining for what it is, and there are some fun things, like, for one, a new Terminator. Btw, yes, Robert Patrick was in The X-Files, and incidentally, I wish reactors would start reacting to it. Last but not least, once Bad to the Bone began playing, you were pretty cute.

Not trying to start any debates, just stating my opinion about something you said. James Cameron knows how to write strong badass women. In general there are soo many real life badass women. They are just not greatly portrayed on film. I've seen so many female led films flop due to bad writing. Feminists blame men for the film flopping and not watching it because it was female led. That's just not true. If the movie is trash, then it is trash, not just because it has a female lead. If a movie is bad in general it's not lack of male support to female lead movies. You said it yourself the badass women you saw were written very well. I wish people would understand this concept more. Anyways enough ranting. Loved the reaction. I suggest not watching anymore of the Terminator films as they are bad. But, if you are curious anyways, I'm here to watch the reaction lol

Great reaction. You would enjoy True Lies (1994). James Cameron. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jaimie Lee Curtis. The best romantic action comedy you have never seen.
