What a great reaction, Marry! A lot of the things that turn off younger viewers you seemed to like, which was nice to see. Most younger reactors tend to hate the music, they complain about the special effects, and some of them think that John falls for Sara too fast. I get why, but it was nice to see someone fully appreciate those things, and to see you so fully engrossed in this movie. I adore this film. The romance is wonderful. I don't like the music in this one much. Except the theme score, I love that part. But I find that my ability to enjoy something changes with the reactor, so that you liked the music allowed me to enjoy the rest of it more too. Kyle Reese didn't kill the other two Saras. The Terminator did. When you saw the one get shot, it was Arnold that did it. I think you got confused because both him and Kyle were dressed in the exact same color coat and you only saw Arnold's face for a second. Kyle explained why he did it, but I'm not sure if you caught it, because some of what he said was hard to hear, and the psychiatrist was talking over him for part of it. The Terminator didn't know exactly where she lived, or what she looked like (until he found her photo in her apartment). He killed the other two Saras because he didn't know which was the right one. Kyle said "The Terminator was just being systematic." About when Sara was on the phone to the cops. She called the police department directly, which isn't the same as 911. I don't know if maybe it's different in Australia, but here, they are two different things. When you call 911, they will send cops if that's what's called for, but that's for something that's more immediately an emergency. When you call the police department (because you might be in danger or to report a crime that isn't an emergency), it's a direct line to the police station, and only to them. If Sarah had called 911, the response from the operator she would have gotten would have been, "Please state the nature of your emergency." She called the police department, which is why the operator said, "You have reached the Los Angeles Police Department." 911 is free to call. The police department is not. Also, you didn't mention this, but almost every other reactor asks, are police lines ever actually busy? 911 never is, and yet they do that on TV for effect. The thing is, while 911 is set up so that the lines can't ever be completely tied up, the police department isn't. Yes, police lines are sometimes busy. That was accurate, and especially when there is news of a killer on the loose, because it can cause panic and a flood of calls. Every time you said how bad the Terminator was ("He has no manners!"), it made me laugh. It's such a huge part of pop culture that The Terminator doesn't give two fucks and can't feel, that it's always funny to me when someone freaks out that he's so cold and murderous. Watching movies like this, ones that are so well known, with you is like sitting down with a newly arrived alien from another planet and seeing her get totally into it. I don't say that to be insulting. It's wonderful, and I love the feeling. Ten years down the road, when you have seen a lot more movies, if you start watching reactions to the movies you have seen, and you come across someone who has no idea, you'll get it. It's a surreal feeling, and it's actually a bit of a rush. I agree with most, that the second Terminator movie is better, and it is one of the best sequels of all time. I don't care for the others after it. You will get a lot of conflicting advice as to whether to watch the others after the second one. The fanbase is divided on them. I can see the third one being a bit of a letdown for you. As far as the second one, were you almost anyone else, I would say you will like the second one better than this one. But I'm actually not sure with you. I can't tell you why because of spoilers, but I am sure you will still enjoy it. As far as the third, the reason I think it will be a letdown is because the story is just a lot weaker, and the characterization is just kind of awkwardly done. Either way, I can't wait to see you react to the second, and my favorite film. Thanks for this, Marry. What a ride.

Oh, I knew I forgot something. Don't read the plot thing for the second film like you did with this one. The trailers for the second film spoiled a major twist when it came out, so there's a good chance the description will too.

In addition to being in Aliens, and Tombstone, Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) was in one episode of the Mandalorian. In season 2 episode 5 "The Jedi" he played the bad gunslinger/mercenary who fought Mando while Ahsoka fought the lady with the spear.

Please watch Terminator 3. I see T2 is up. Btw, you'll also see Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) when you watch Aliens (part 2 in the Alien saga).

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you watch the Cameron Trilogy of these films ( T1, T2, Terminator: Dark Fate ). That is the Trilogy as James Cameron imagined it and intended. I would pay extra to see you react to the Cameron trilogy in full.
