Agents of SHIELD?

Travis

True Detective is going to lose but it’s so much better than the expanse ugh

Cory Silver

I'll vote expanse, but the heart wants Agent Carter, both seasons of which happen to be on Disney Plus.

Brian Berg

Agents of shield

Adam Grunther

It would be amazing if you gave Daredevil a chance.

True Detective Season 1 is just magnificent. Makes the Expanse look like a cute 80’s Saturday kids show, like Sigmund the Sea Monster. That’s not quite true, the Expanse is good too. But True Detective (season 1 only) is phenomenal.

Jonas Doksaeter

The Expanse is the greatest TV show I've ever seen. Agents of Shield which other folks are recommending is also fantastic, lots of varied seasons, outstanding characters and has guest appearances and tie-ins with the MCU as well so I'd love either one of them.

Adam Grunther

I know it’s not an option, but Doom Patrol is such an amazing show and absolutely worth checking out.

Texas Anla'Shok

Babylon 5 is another good one.

Farscape , Babylon 5 are great older sci fi shows

MrChill

I vote that you react to Terminator and Terminator 2, and then Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Mary gotta know that The Expanse has 5 seasons so far, its a long series.. and it's Sci-Fi. I hope she is interested in that, its Sci-Fi 24/7. True Detective is only 1 season (11 episodes) and pretty intriguing

First 3 episodes of The Expanse can be difficult to get thru for some people, but it is one of the absolute best sci-fi series ever made.

Oooh, tough choice - both are great!

Honestly would not mind either because they're both fantastic television, but The Expanse is the best TV show ever made in my opinion. The showrunner has a PhD in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering and the show definitely benefits from that realism and attention to detail, so much so that NASA has actually gotten inspiration from some of the tech. The book writers also write for the show, which maintains the quality of the novels. As someone else said, the first few episodes are slow, but it's because its building and setting up a world for 6 entire seasons spanning our entire solar system. It's Game of Thrones meets Battlestar Galactica meets Mass Effect. (The Mass Effect creators were originally inspired by the Expanse books and tabletop RPG) I hope you react to both shows in the future!
