I think one thing that helps me with other reactors is they leave the screen up but it’s blurred out. I can’t really see what’s on the screen but I can see the camera angels change and it helps me kind of line things up for the times where you might be watching a slightly different version than I am.

I agree. That method is very helpful, especially when I have to stop in the middle of the movie. The blurred image makes it easy to sync up and keep track if things go askew timewise. The timer helps but is not as obvious as a blurred image. 👍

I can say that as a user, there are a few tips I have on my end. You kind of have to ride the pause button, looking for scene changes. If one of the screens flashes black, then the other one flashes back about two seconds later, I know the one that flashed black first is ahead, so I'll pause that one, while the other one plays. Then if it's not quite right, I'll do some more adjusting, and it seems like that works. I'm not really sure what you yourself could do that you aren't already. Obviously keeping the movie up the whole time would help, but copyright stuff is pretty blah.

From what I've seen from other patreon creators they usually leave the screen blurred and muted when uploading to youtube, others I've seen upload to vimeo with screen & audio and a dl link (Duo Reacts does this) from what I can tell no one really gets in trouble for that.

Also Patreon itself has some kind of video player which you can leave the screen and audio (YaBoyRoshi Does this) I named some of them just in case you wanted to ask them for advice, They're all active creators.

I think the issue is a frame rate difference. Films in the US play at 24 frames per second and movies in Australia play at 25 frames per second. It's not a huge difference, but it adds up enough to screw up the sync

I have developed a browser extension that helps with syncing reactions to their corresponding content on different streaming services: https://www.casper.live/ It is still a work-in-progress, but it works. Soon there will also be a companion website where you'll be able to post your reactions. I sent you a message with details a few weeks ago.

Oh this sounds great, I'll be keeping an eye on it!

It is strange though that I only have sync issues on your DCEU movies reactions, The other shows and movies appear to sync well. Sorry, I am not really offering you a solution here, just sharing my experience ... tips by other patreons seem to be very good.

Mary, can you play the first minute or so of the movie audio without triggering Imperial entanglements? People can easily sync to that.
