this is probably my favorite reaction yet. i was on the edge of my seat the whole time. not because i was scarred but because Mary is so funny. I almost fell out of my seat when she said "Stop your bichin and take your linnen" :))))).........close enough Mary lmao

It’s the theatrical version which is arguably the best for first-time viewers as it enhances the impact of seeing Newt for the first time. That being said, the special edition is definitely best for repeat viewing.

Yes, please don’t watch 3 or Resurrection. If you watch more alien films just do Alien vs Predator, AVP: Requiem, Prometheus( prequel to Alien) and Alien: Covent. The last two are a mixed bag but more worth your time than 3 and 4. I hope you watch Predator 1987, Terminator 1984 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Last two are by James Cameron.

I haven't watched the theatrical version of this a long time. Its striking how much faster the pacing is than the Director's Cut.

Alien 3 is a mess, David Fincher's directorial debut, the studio interfered too much and it's pretty unwatchable. Resurrection has some beautiful sequences but is also a mess. The two new ones are good and thought provoking but confusing because again, the studio interfered and too much context was edited. You literally need to watch some YT vids explaining what was cut out of the movie, the sequences were never shot. A shame, really.

Awesome reaction Mary. I think horror movies are your best so far, you’re so raw in your reaction to them. We’re really getting to see your most unfiltered self with these ones I feel. It’s awesome! Aliens is my personal favourite of the series but I love Alien as well and I have huge respect for anyone but particularly someone of the younger generations who favours the slower, more suspenseful movie over the action. They really don’t make movies like Alien anymore as audiences don’t have the patience. Horror recommendations: - The Thing (1982) - The Fog (1980) - The Fly (1986) - The Evil Dead (1981) - Jaws Non-horror: - The Terminator (same director as Aliens & Hicks is male lead) - Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Logan (will hit you in the feels - not necessary to watch the previous men films films)

Also want to recommend that you go back and watch the 1990 Directors cut of Aliens as it adds so much to the character development you said you were missing.

Just an honest critique, I know this is an older video but was happy to of got to this reaction, and im glad you liked this movie in the end. That being said I have no idea what it is that was so important on your phone, you were on it WAY to much for this reaction, i honestly had a hard time enjoying watching this one with you. You seemed, bored, uninterested and your focus seemed everywhere but the reaction for 75% of it and as a viewer it was hard to watch.

I agree; she seemed out of it on this one. Not knowing there was no audio for the first minutes, long silences, food breaks Don't know what she's smoking, but this was more of a Mary Jane reaction than a Mary Cherry reaction. Ease off the weed, girl! And you could have a "take a drink every time Mary touches her nose" game in this one.
