You’re flying through these and I’m loving it

Matthew Richson

Up next, one of the best, if not THE best film of MCU. And without a doubt the best film of Phase 2. And Mary, do you think it’ll be possible for you to put in a timer for the movie? Because it’ll help with syncing.

David Martin

aye you movin thru these movies lol....you're about to get to good stuff now

Anonymous

When Loki died you kept saying "I can't believe it, I can't believe it." I was thinking go with that feeling.

MJ

Seriously can't wait for your Captain America: Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy reactions. They're the two of the best in phase 2 if not the entire MCU

Ryan Ernst

Excellent reaction and summary. FYI, the mid-credit scene alludes to six total Infinity Stones. You are now aware of the Tesseract and the Aether. What more lies ahead... Captain America: The Winter Soldier is up next :)

Anonymous

I’m confused. Did you watch the whole movie without volume? Only reading the subtitles?

Anonymous

Ok that was what I was hoping for you. That would be horrible. Lol

Saifu

Highly anticipating for your Winter Soldier reaction!!

Daniel Gotenks

U should really give agent of shield a chance. Forget about whatever spoiler ppl told u. If it's about the one with coulson, dont worry there's more to it that the show will reveal. The series expands the mcu universe beyond what the movie does especially if u want to learn more about SHIELD and the mcu history. Plus it has good story and character developments that u will like.

So after watching a really enjoying several of your videos on YouTube I decide to go ahead and invest the $10 and settle in to your full length reactions. And I’m sorry to say: never have I experienced more buyers remorse over a patreon subscriptions, possibly any media subscription anywhere on the internet. The first video I watch has 20+ minutes of some ridiculous stock music playing over the film... but ok. I can forgive that. Everyone makes mistakes after all. But then the second, this video, starts out with several minutes where you don’t have any audio which led to you missing a pretty pivotal plot point. It’s a shame because I still enjoy the commentary, but the packaging is so sloppy and, I hate to say it but, reeks of incompetence. And then I have to spend the next 20 minutes or so watching you lap up some unrecognizable something or other like a schnauzer, praying that you would start using your spoon only to find myself regretting even that wish. Regretting it, of course, because once you began using your spoon all I could hear was the clinking and clanking and grinding of the metal against the glass like nails on a chalkboard, just digging into my eardrums. I mean, come on. A little awareness of your audiences experience coupled with some simple consideration would be nice. Add to that even with the sporadic and random one sided conversation I had to listen to as you, I’m assuming, talked to someone whose supposedly helping you with these videos. And then he/she goes and tosses out a spoiler like, “that was Loki” only for you to try and play it off like he/she didn’t just ruin the big plot twist if the third act.... honestly. If there was a snowballs chance in hell of me getting it I would demand my money back, but since there’s no provision for that on patreon I’ll just have to settle for canceling my subscription. I will still most likely watch your YouTube videos and would have loved to be able to stick this out here with you. I truly enjoy your perspective and like watching your reactions. I will give it until the end of the billing cycle to see if things improve but, if it were tomorrow, I would be canceling today.

Ryan Ernst

“Uncut” is sloppy by definition and people make mistakes. There are many other videos here that aren’t plagued by similar audio issues. It’s also been a tough time for Mary recently with the loss of one of her friends and another struggling with brain cancer. Have a heart, pal!

Malcolm Wolf

The thing with the SHIELD spoiler is unfortunately it is almost impossible to miss, seeing Coulson's face is plastered front and centre of the advertising. I guess they decided it was more important to use him as a selling point, and leave how he got back as the main big reveal earlier on in the show. The fact remains the show has some of the most mind-blowing reveals of television that you are still not aware of, and I'd love to see your WTF face one day if you got the chance to see them.

I’d like to address Dad_Plays comments and Ryan Ernst ‘s response above. First off, I am a loyal supporter of Mary. I had to briefly stop my Patreon support because the holiday’s are coming up and money is really tight for me right now. But I will continuing my Patreon support just as soon as I am able. So I’d like that to be known up front. Now, to the comments, Dad_Plays is an asshole. Not because of what he said but because of how he worded it. It was not necessary, it was rude, and could have been worded in a totally different way. It’s made even worse when you know what Mary has been going through lately. As Ryan said, have a heart. But, I have to say, I would be a liar if I didn’t admit that there were 3 or 4 things that Dad_Plays said that also annoyed me. It “does” seem like at times Mary misses important parts of the plot because she is looking at or communicating with the person off camera. And shame on the person off camera for clearly spoiling the Loki scene for her. Also, yes, the drink and spoon was very distracting for me personally. I was very happy when she finished with it. And as far as the volume problems at the beginning, why not just start the film over so you could listen to it without missing anything? So yes, I do think some Dad_Plays criticisms have some merit, but the way he went about voicing them was lame as hell. Again, I love Mary, love the reviews and will continue to support her whenever I can, so please don’t take this post in a negative way. Just my honest thoughts.

Thank you for the videos. Can’t wait for Captain America: The Winter Soldier!

I think it's a shame that you're a little distracted while looking. It seems like you are looking at another monitor and not only rarely ^^. Unfortunately, you are missing important things. The fact that you are chatting with someone on the side doesn't help with the attention either. I love your comments when you focus on the movie. For example, after the first movie, I wasn't the biggest fan of Thor and Jane either. I can't understand Why the person is telling you spoilers.

Stefan suchy

My top 3 would be current 1. Avengers 2. Iron Man 3. Captain America

Cory Silver

Ok, so, before I watch, I want to say, I read the comment and I'm aware that you'll be distracted during this watch, and why. So, I want to say sorry for the sad things, and I hope this viewing of stuff never feels too much like an obligation. So this movie, I guess it wasn't so highly regarded either. I guess all the stuff with the gravity was a bit slower paced, and the bad guys were sort of, not super over with people. It's sort of sad when a bad faction doesn't go over so well, because companies never really try again. They only repeat success, not what they see as a failure. We'll see if I have any comments after this, but, I'll probably just chill out and watch, another second viewing, the first being in the theaters.

Cory Silver

Knowing that Colson is in Agent's of SHIELD isn't really a spoiler. The real mystery going in was "HOW" he was alive. He was the draw of the show so you knew he was back before you even watched episode one. The rest of the team is wonderful though. I still say it's a fun watch, and it goes on for many seasons with MANY great cliffhangers. So as for Thor 2. After seeing later movies and TV shows, the stuff hits a bit different. When Loki says "You may want to try the stairs" that reads differently now. This had some fun moments, but yeah, there were some real slow parts too, It would be fun to comment like, when all this was relevant, but I guess after the fact is cool too.
