The suit attached to pep when the house was being blown up because tony made the suit cover her to protect her.

Thanks for getting this out so fast btw, I was having a really shit day and this actually cheered me up. I guess the universe has a way of timing things to work out for us I guess haha

Excellent reaction and summary! Your sorrow for Pepper was so heartfelt. It actually brought a tear to my eye and I already knew the fall didn’t kill her :) Thor: The Dark World is up next!

I really like how you assessed this as a “where are they now?” Type of storyline. Without spoiling you’ll probably see that as a theme in phase two. Also, Tony’s journey is a lot about personal growth and I think you saw that too. Great reactions ❤️

Video is no longer available. Is there another link?

The reason Killian’s arm grew back is the same reason they panned to the little girl with no leg. The extremis experiment regrows lost limbs and the fire stuff is a side effect. It’s why they arrested the Vice President in the end, he was in on the illegal scheme.

Mary, you should really watch Agents of Shield Episodes 1 - 7, then Thor: The Dark World, Episodes 8 - 16, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Episodes 17 - 22, then Guardians of the Galaxy.

At the end you said something that I also find very important. That we don't have shining heroes who just solve all problems. We have very human heroes with faults and weaknesses and who also suffer. But that ensures that you empathize with them much more and are happy when they are successful.

Oh no, another disaster. You just have the worst luck when filming these things. Iron Man 3 was another movie I haven't re-watched since I saw it in theaters. So, the advertised villain was the Mandarin, not based on the citrus. He was basically Iron Man's big foe. Like, the big one. He was, sort of a racist stereotype, but also pretty damn cool. The Ten Rings. They were mentioned in Iron Man 1. They will, I think be back in the Master of Kung Fu movie. So, basically the Mandarin had, literally ten rings, one on each of his fingers. Here's an article about them. I was going to list them all here, but there's a lot to it and it doesn't "really" matter. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Mandarin%27s_Rings So, about the movie. People called this the first "dud". After the amazing high energy Avengers, Marvel hit the brakes, and really didn't even have Iron Man in his suit very much at all. It was just, Tony Stark investigations. The "Extremis" sub-plot was from the comics as well. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Extremis_virus But yeah, people wanted to see Iron Man vs. his Arch Rival, and when he turned out to be just an actor, people kind of lost it. The best part of the movie, was the dealing with PTSD. He was, millions, maybe billions of miles away from earth, trapped in outer space in a basically dead suit. It's just lucky for him that Earths Pull was still great enough to pull him back through the portal, and that it stayed open long enough. Then he just free fell anyway 'til Hulk caught him. So yeah. Using the "Nightmare" as a way of showing us a clip of it, so we can see for sure what was upsetting him so much, was smart. Also, "Asshole" Tony creating his own villain by just ignoring the guy on the roof, was pretty good karma.
