Spaceballs is good with my depression.

‘The Death of Stalin’ is a lot of fun

James

What about BLENDED!!

Chase

Death To Smoochy (2002)

Hello Miss Mary Cherry. My favorite comedy is Beverly Hills cop because it is pretty much nonstop. Comedy after Axel arrives in Beverly Hills.

The Batman 1113

Something about Mary! The only movie in my life that made me laugh until I cried on numerous occasions 🦇

Alex Tan

Mr. Deeds (2002) with Adam Sandler & Winona Ryder. #MrDeeds2002ForMaryCherry I'm also suggesting this movie to Addie Counts. #MrDeeds2002ForAddieCounts

Ramzi M. A. Ramzi

WEDDING CRASHERS (2005) is my recommendation. It brightens my day every time I watch it. Similar feeling to watching BEVERLY HILLS COP (1984), which you’ve already seen. Feel better soon.

Ryan Ernst

Hope you feel better soon, Mary!

Cody Price

“That Thing You Do.” A great comedy that is written, produced, directed by Tom Hanks. He is also a supporting actor in the film as well. He also writes some of the songs in the film as well. The soundtrack is amazing as well. You will want to buy the soundtrack as soon as the film is done.

Orion

“It’s a Mad, mad, mad, mad world” absolute classic!!

For the Horde!

So, I Married an Axe Murderer. A relatively unknown Mike Meyer comedy where he play things mostly straight. It has a great cast as well.

SpankTheMonk

Separating out for possible polling selection/and patron individual up voting. I believe these films have great casts, are fun-funny, and have great acting. Thanks for asking- I hope our suggestions are a helpful balm for you.

Rob Jones

PCU A spoof about politically correctness at a university with all various student groups. And one group that goes against all their ideologies. Or Animal house.

SpankTheMonk

Great pick! And has an Entourage cast member I believe as Mary mentioned being a fan of the show.

Joe D. MacGuffinstuff

Role Models is a funny one a lot of people haven't seen, Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott (Stifler), always cheers me up.

Wayne

Young Frankenstein by Mel Brooks

TheBatman

Hope you are doing good marry, i have two favorite, see what's right to be put on the poll, so yeah, I'll suggest home alone. First three films of home alone, *Home Alone* is comedy for me because it’s hilarious watching a kid outsmart burglars with crazy tricks. The reactions and over-the-top moments always make me laugh. It’s just pure fun every time I watch it. Baby's Day Out, *Baby's Day Out* (1994) is a comedy about a baby who embarks on an unexpected adventure in the city. The film is lighthearted, featuring plenty of humor and charming moments as the baby’s day unfolds in a unique way.

Hank Jr

Blast from the Past (1999) My favorite comedy you have already seen but this one is also up there. Stars actors such Brendan Fraser and Christopher Walken. It’s just a wholesome fun and funny movie. One of my Favorites from Brendan Fraser.

Tom Evans

Top Secret! (1984) -- unapologetically silly fun, and that underwater scene!

Hank Jr

A very good one. One I was thinking about posting as well.

Cory Silver

I have a few. Doctor Strangelove (1964) --- The Big Lebowski (1998) --- Office Space (1999) --- Clue (1985) --- Top Secret! (1984 --- This is Spinal Tap (1984) --- Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) --- The Jerk (1979) --- Dogma (1999) --- Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (1985) --- What About Bob? (1991) --- Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) I think that'll do for now.

Roman Paliy

Hot Tub Time Machine

Kevin Townsend

Bedazzled {2000} with Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley.

Brian Adams

Blazing Saddles omg plz

Gary Trousdale

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been down ☹️ So… -Young Frankenstein; the absolute best Mel Brooks movie. -The Life of Brian; hilarious Monty Python take on Christianity and religion in general. -A Fish Called Wanda; written by John Cleese, brilliant comic performances throughout. -We’re the Millers; a group of not quite friends pose as a family to raise much needed cash by doing a drug run to Mexico. -Romancing the Stone; if you like romcoms, this is a good one. -Duck Soup; a venerable classic Marx Brothers romp, possibly their silliest, plus has iconic gags that have been recreated over and over by others for over 90 years. -The Martian; this is technically a sci-fi adventure, but is surprisingly funny and uplifting. -The Emperor’s New Groove; probably the funniest animated feature that Disney Studios ever created. -Lilo and Stitch; while we’re on Disney, this one is terrific, funny and with lots of feels and heart. Directed by Chris Sanders (also directed How to Train Your Dragon and Wild Robot)

colin summers

I didn't see it on your channel but you may have seen this already South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut. This movie had me crying laughing the first time I saw it.

Kian Cavazos Garcia

One of my favorite comedies is Green Book directed by Peter Farrelly starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali. Every time I watch it not only does it make me laugh, but it also warms my heart. It won the Academy Award for Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Ali. I think you’ll really enjoy it. P.S. Hope you’re feeling better Mary ❤️

Kevin Townsend

What About Bob? {1991} Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss

Dave Walker

White Chicks(2004). after watching the Wayne’s brothers in the Scary Movies over the Halloween, it would be nice to see them in this movie.

Kevin Townsend

National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) I know you've seen Christmas Vacation but how about the original?

Joshua s. Jackson

Without A Paddle(2004) Mathew Lillard, Dad Shepard and Seth Green I'd hilarious.

Paul Gerth

Those are all funny movies but by far "Bad Grandpa" with Johnny Knoxville had me laughing constantly and out loud.

Marc Viloria

Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

I know most of my favorite comedies you've already reacted to. The first one that comes to mind I don't think you've done yet is Groundhog Day (1993) starring Bill Murray. I love that one not only because it's funny, but it has a unique story and has some serious and even intense moments.

Adam Grunther

The Blues Brothers is an absolute classic with amazing humor acting, musical numbers, stunts, and performances from some music legends like Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles.

Jay Wooderson

I'd love to see Mary react to Office Space and This is Spinal Tap. She's already reacted to Lebowski, Scott Pilgrim, Dogma, and Peewee big adventure though.

Jay Wooderson

Yes Kingpin! I been recommending Kingpin to Mary for like 2 years now. Lol.

djKENTO

you’re coming up on the season for one of my favorites… The Night Before starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackee and Seth Rogen as three high school friends who have a tradition of spending Christmas Eve together but this is the last time now that they’re growing up. Genuinely wholesome and Christmasy but it’s also got a bunch of great wild humor.

Jay Wooderson

"Raising Arizona" (1987). It's a classic Coen Brother's comedy. Definitely worth watching for your channel.

Damien Lupo

Hot damn! Your first 3 rec's I haven't seen in a while and I'd love to watch again, So I fully second those!

Rog

“Life“ starring 3 “goat” legend comedians . Funny but with a great story too . Very different but reminds of “ click “ in someways.

Rog

Hated white chicks .. please don’t ..it’s awkward movie that was bad then and dated now.

Rog

Yes !! Lmfao just reading the name of the movie again. Underrated!

Francisco

You have already reacted to the Naked Gun, so my other favorite is Scary Movie(2000) by the Wayans Bros. Because it's hard for me to take anything serious for too long lol

I did a search on her FAQ, and didn't see any of the movies on the list, and I was too tired to cross check every suggestion. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_FkcwQ0vPAAk53YVyo-ChXc9AuX1pn5gbctrOkX13xA/edit?pli=1&tab=t.0 Maybe the FAQ needs some updating.

Jeff Mills

My favorite comedy is “A Hard Day’s Night” (1964). As you and some other patrons know, I’m a huge Beatles fan and this is their first film. It also was parodied in the beginning of the first Austin Powers movie. The Beatles have always been there for me when I’ve been down and I think that you would really enjoy their music and especially this film. I could be wrong, but those are my thoughts. Last but not least, Mary, it wasn’t that long ago that I bared my soul and expressed how crushed I was with my most recent breakup and my Dad’s battle and subsequent victory over cancer. You and everyone else here were there for me and always have been. I cannot express how grateful I am to you and everyone for that. So, I am always here for you and everyone. I love you, my friend. Sending you a big hug from the Carolinas. ❤️🍒

Robin Roberts

I'm so sorry to hear that you are feeling down. I have certain goto films and TV series when I'm feeling down. My favourite film which just happens to be a comedy is The Apartment. But if you're in the mood for something crazy funny then I suggest Monty Python's Life of Brian, Airplane 2 (I know you've watched the first one), Spinal Tap, South Park The Movie or Team America. Or if you want something life affirming and magical Paddington and Paddington 2 (as recommended by Pedro Pascal and Nicolas Cage) I found both films enchanting. I hope your spirits rise soon. I love all your reactions and you do such a fantastic job. Thank you

Peter Topley

The Johnny English movies always make me laugh out loud. Some of the funniest lines and physical comedy gags. Plus, you have a trilogy to look forward to, which, imo, gets funnier as it goes on.

Erik Stevenson

Game Night One of the funniest comedies I've seen in years, the cast is excellent and the story is just non-stop funny, but also has some fun action!

Eddie Perkins

I can't remember what you have or haven't seen, so I will throw some names out there and see if the people like them. The Big Lebowski (1998), Kingpin (1996), Due Date (2010), The Hangover (2009), Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), Trading Places (1983), There's Something About Mary (1998). and Young Frankenstein (1974) is an excellent parody if you have seen Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein.

Eddie Perkins

Young Frankenstein is a great parody, but a lot of things will cover your head if you haven't seen the originals.

Damian

This is the end

Brantly

Not Another Teen Movie.

Hubbs30

Hey Mary , I hope you feel better soon . you are in my thoughts. My favorite comedy is The Best of Times. Its an 80's film with Robin Williams and Kurt Russell. I first saw it when I was a wee lad and it it always stuck with me and every time I watch it it always gives me a lift and takes me back to simpler times

Happy Hanukkah

Excellent contribution. I particularly second The Life of Brian and A Fish Called Wanda.

Happy Hanukkah

I'll suggest not a pure comedy but a sports/comedy movie: The Replacements (2000), starring Keanu Reeves, which delivers both laughs and some uplift. To buttress my recommendation, Cassie from Popcorn in Bed absolutely loved it. :-) (By the way, no need to try understanding the intricacies of American football; just roll with it.)

Sir_Robert

The first Vacation movie is genius. Even though Chevy is a bit of an asshole, he’s one of the greatest comedic actors of all time. Got great jokes too. If you’ve seen that already, I’d suggest “Fletch.” Chevy is amazing in that too

Juwon waller

I know a movie that will that is comedy and singing for you.....sing (2016)

The Strange Vision

Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood. It is a Wayons brothers comedy kind of like the Scary Movie films. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but would love to see your reaction.

marycherryofficial

Some of these suggestions I will be doing anyway for December haha and have already filmed. So I’m sure some of you will be happy. 😃

SpankTheMonk

Sorry about providing three (even though I separated out). My only excuse is it is really hard to pick just one 🙏

marycherryofficial

separating it out makes the most sense. it's the paragraphs of many different suggestions that get confusing / overwhelming
