I've been told by many that after the next arc (post-war) that One Pace is highly recommended due to severe pacing issues.

What are your opinions? Is it a better experience?

FYI - I’m not implying I’ll be changing to One Pace. Just curious to know what people’s experiences are 👍

The people that tout one pace over one piece are inpatient weekly watchers. One piece in its original format is the ONLY way to enjoy it imo. On a rewatch one pace would be fine but initial impression it should be how it was released, my opinion at least 🤷‍♂️ here for the ride either way tho

My concern though is doing arcs that have 50+ episodes that people consider awful pacing and just won't watch whereas if it's all following manga canon and can streamline it then it would be a better experience for myself and viewers?

I can see your point but I think a lot of the bad pacing comments arent truly related to pacing and more so less interesting characters or flashbacks. And tbh I've seen a couple other creators contemplate this, usually at this point in the story, and it seems like they didn't mind the pacing like the community does

I haven't seen one pace but I can say that fishman/punk hazard arcs both are horrible to get through and especially coming from impel down/marineford it can completely take the wind out of your sails

I have seen one piece from start to were it is now and i have rewatched it 20+ times from we’re you are know if you skip anything you will losses so much I don’t think people that is seeing ONE PIECE whit you is going anywhere

As a reactor trying to build his channel One pace might have some merit. One piece gets really slow in a few arcs later on. But the show itself is also very good and it's also nice to have that many episodes and be on the journey and experience if that makes sense. Hopefully it does.

I think One Pace is really great, but it's really important to keep the marketing as One Piece because many people feel discouraged by the fact you are not reacting to the og series. Also, imo watching One Piece weekly is indeed kind of frustrating, but you don't really notice when binging. Maybe watch 2-3 episodes per video like RuffSenpai did for a while?

Yea that's a pretty fair point too, whatever Alonsy decides I'll be watching. I just think OP is gonna be over one day and we won't be getting more then, so I'm gonna enjoy every episode even the "bad" or "slow" ones

One Pace is great as a project but I think not as a first time experience nor as a reaction series. It sticks to the manga almost panel by panel and while, yes, a few coming arcs do drag on sometimes, I personally haven't minded with other reactors.

The coming arcs are indeed much slower and can be a chore to get through if not watched in larger chunks. I feel that if you are planning to keep with your current schedule, that trimming the fat via One Pace is not a bad idea at all

What is one pace?

Nyarlathotep

It's a fan edited version of one piece that tries to cut out all the filler material and pacing issues

Maybe do only certain arcs with one pace. I know you are very much trying to build your channel. I won't say which ones but a few coming up are extremely slow and kind of just meh. Either way I'm here for the journey.
