I got into the franchise first through the visual novel and then watched the animes. Zero is a bit different in tone from Stay Night which took a little adjusting to. One of my favorite things in Fate is seeing how the servants and masters interact with each other. It's kind of funny for a war in which servants should hide their identities for a tactical advantage most of them keep blurting them out. First Rider, then Archer, now Lancer and Saber have all said who they are. This Berserker is really wild as to be expected from the name lol. He's got a lot of special abilities for a servant that's supposed to mindlessly attack :) I don't think anyone can out ego Gilgamesh - mongrel is probably his favorite word. Caster is straight up crazy - my personal least favorite in the series.
