This arc is better than the Sasuke vs Itachi arc and the tale of jiraya the gallant arc together

Lesser show would have shown this episode immediately after. Naruto let's it ruminate in the back of your mind, as you watch multiple other major characters die, and then brings all the pain back to the surface. Death of Jiraiya just cuts different.

I don't think Naruto was out of line with his reaction, but there was no way Tsunade could have stopped Jiraiya. Either way, this will weigh down on Tsunade a lot as well, wishing she would have stopped him. My favorite Arcs til now, excluding the upcoming Pain Arc: 1. Jiraiya the Gallant (Jiraiya vs Pain) 2. Sasuke vs Itachi 3. Kakashi Gaiden Other Arcs were good as well, and have really cool characters too. But the listed Arcs just have a different emotional weight behind it (no disrespect to Asuma ofc, I blame Allonsyyy for limiting it to top 3).

I mean Pain arc is considered by most to be the absolute PEAK of the Naruto series. So I really can't wait for your reactions to Pain and see what you think of him. He's my favorite character. And he's easily the best villain, so I guess that helps a lot.

Top 3 arcs: 1. Pain arc by a country mile 2. Can't say yet (name contains spoiler) but it's the longest arc of Shippuden 3. Itachi arc Honorable mention: Jiraiya's arc and Sasuke's rescue mission arc from OG

Man, I've never seen you comment so much on a video. Even more, you have noticed a lot of important events in this episode and summed up all thoughts! Plus you did it in an episode full of plot details, in an episode that is very difficult emotionally. Of course, one of the reasons why I watch your reactions is because of this, but this time you have surpassed yourself

Pain arc is great story wise, but it has some of the worst animations in Naruto, sadly
