Should I skip One Piece episodes 46-47? 🗯 (Patreon)

I’ve had a lot of people say that these episodes are anime cannon only episodes that mainly comedic and not vital to the story (basically to watch in my own time)

Should I skip reacting to these episodes?

They are canon filler please watch them you'll need them to understand the next Arc a bit better

Question is are these worth spending time reacting to. With it being listed as anime canon I've been told this is a comedic side story which if I'm honest, doesn't interest me that much personally especially coming off the back of SUCH a strong arc in Arlong Park

There is some canon stuff in the episodes but its mostly filler, just reading up the episodes summarys should be fine

It's canon mixed filler so they'll flashback some scenes from these 2 episodes and a certain character is reintroduced, you'll feel a little lost when they reference back to these couple of episodes.

It's actually canonical to the manga, just fleshed out for two episodes. The world progresses independently of the strawhats and those events directly affect the strawhats or their environment or the people they meet later on. imho the best way to ensure one gets the most out of this show is to embrace the series as the absurdist epic masterpiece it is, enjoying its comic moments as much as its dark ones. It would be a shame to miss out on moments that showcase the brilliant ridiculousness of Oda's world. These two breather episodes depict the adventures of a character we've met before and will see again, and are part of the world building. My suggestion is for you to watch it, but you don't have to react to it.
