Love the way you appreciate the greatness that so many have forgotten about this show. Yes it's nostalgia but it's so much more than that. People who love a good story can appreciate how well this one in particular has stood the test of time.

Thank you for acknowledging that this show does heart, story and emotion a lot better than most modern shounen. Not saying these modern ones are not great themselves, but Naruto just does certain things better than most.

Man I have such a love hate relationship with Naruto, like the story is genuinely really special to me and in certain moments is the best anime I've watched, but there are other points (particularly later in the series) where it just falls apart for me. I love the show but it just drives me crazy because it could have been sooo much better and maybe gotten the credit it deserves, I think if Kishimoto maybe had more input from a group of writers rather than handling a lot of the story himself then it really could've been the greatest animated show of all time.

I'm glad we're here! I haven't been watching bc I don't particularly like this arc but I kept my membership bc I love your content :) and I knew I'd be back once you hit this spot. I love the entirety of Shippuden so, I'll be here from now on. Glad to see you returned to one episode a day (at least it seems so for what I've seen). See you, I'm off to binge all the way to 133 now. Again, love your Naruto reactions :)
