This episode with Lee is very sand but it shows us there are real consequences in this show. Lee is lovely, he’s one of my favorites and I want him to be one of the greatest ninja in the world but he was reckless and almost died and now he can’t be a ninja anymore, which was his dream. The author makes sure to tel us not everybody is meant to achieve their dream, not everybody is going to become an unstoppable force, not even the geniuses and sadly, not everyone is going to survive this story. And I love that. Some people hate this happening to Lee while later complain bc the author gave a chance to other people but I think it only makes the story better and more diverse. Lee deserved more but he didn’t get it and the story is better for it. Not everybody has a happy ending and that’s ok.
