Also I think you may have a misconception about the reanimation jutsu. It does bind that persons soul to a physical body so it is actually them. The thing with the hokage fight was that he added those talismans to them alter their behavior

It depends if you define the soul as actually "them". If you could transfer your consciousness to another host I wouldn't consider that as 100% you so I don't think it's possible to have a "misconception" here. It's just one take on it!
