Really glad you liked them! I am a huge fan of both manga and anime. If you are able to look above the anthropomorphic side of things and just jump along for the ride it really is a unique anime. The series discusses a lot of social issues but in a metaphorical way through an animal universe. The anime is indeed done in CG and I think it is one of the best CG anime around! It is mostly loyal to the manga source with interesting artistic choices throughout (in terms of colors and camera angles for example). The openings, while amazing, only hint on a very superficial level the "plot" and completely keeps hidden everything else. Looking forward to hopefully seeing you reacting to it one day :)
