Hey all!

Just wanted to get all of your thoughts regarding the next main series replacing MHA as we will be finishing this week and starting a brand new reaction series next week.

Hunter X Hunter is lined up to be the next series which I’m all for! HOWEVER, one concern I have that I have to be honest with you about is despite the overwhelming votes for this to be the next main series, it seems to be similar to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood when it comes to reactions on YouTube.

Everyone loves the series, but unless you’re a 100k+ sub channel, nobody watches reactions after the first episode until the later stages.

It sadly, gets a LOT less views than a majority of shows and that is something I do have to consider.

I want to believe people love the show and will watch it, speaking to other reactors and looking at YouTube does make me concerned that it may be something people like the idea of but won’t watch like they do for MHA, Naruto, OP etc...

As much as I wish we could just do whatever on the channel I do have to be, in all honesty, realistic & business minded as a commitment of 9 months has to be worth it.

What I’d like to know is how many of you are actually interested in watching a HxH reaction series as opposed to something like Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover or One Piece? Of course this post won’t decide anything as I’ll still look to do what I personally think is best but always open to feedback!

I want to do what people want but I also have to do what’s right for the channel and I’d love to know what you guys honestly think as right now the next series will likely be Black Clover.

I'll be honest. There are only certain episodes I would watch. I don't think HxH is all that great, and it really really drags its feet to get through the plot arcs. That said, you will probably have the same issue with any long running shonen anime.

Personally. I think it’s a bit disappointing hearing you not wanting to do it. Although I completely get where you are coming from. if your thinking of a better anime to get you views. Watch haikyu lmao. Not saying it’s the best but a lot of people love haikyu reactions. Probably one of the most underrated anime. That’s why it’s so popular in the reaction community. Whatever you decide I’ve enjoyed your context. Hopefully you keep up the work man!

Personally i'd much prefer watching a hxh reaction over naruto, bleach, black clover or one piece but if you'd rather switch to a shorter show with only a few seasons i'd be super happy with that too

something like overlord perhaps it has 3 seasons so its not too short but it doesnt drag much either same with golden kamuy but it has 2 seasons so far its up to you though what you think people will wanna see more

The issue isn’t about watching a shorter series, it’s about what is best for everyone long term. MHA has been a big pillar in our channel and trying to replace it as best as possible is something I want to do

I get what you mean but in the long running series there tends to be a lot of slow paced episodes, flashbacks, fillers etc so people will skip a lot of episodes and just watch big fight scenes and stuff but if you picked a shorter series which doesn't have the time to slow down as much i think you wouldn't find as much of a problem personally but im happy whichever way you go because im mainly here for you as a creator

But as opposed to the Big 5 (Naruto, OP, Bleach, DB, DC) HxH has only 2 filler episodes and I personally enjoyed and would watch every episode again. With 148 episodes total it's not as big of a commitment. But if you want to switch to other anime I'd be fine with that. I watch everything you react to as long as I even remotely liked the show because I like your analysis skills (I don't like group reactions because it tends to distract them and I want reactors that pay attention, like you) Side Note: Normally I don't watch reactions to shows I haven't seen myself but your reaction to Shield Hero got me into that (I was kinda scared to start it) and I binged the whole show on that weekend. Would definitely watch it again through your reactions :) It's one of my favourite isekai now!

Honestly I love hunter x hunter and I love Naruto to death. I would support either for sure, Even though hunter x hunter is also of my favorite animes ever. Naruto will obviously give you more attention. But even being a huge Naruto fan, the beginning of the show has very slow paced moments, because they had to make sure the show didn't catch up to the manga. HxH - more enjoyable series from start to finish , and also popular. Naruto- extremely popular, longer series, a goat amongst animes, but a long ride full of flashbacks and some slow pacing.

I'd watch every HXH episode. One Piece is the other series I would love to watch along with if you chose to do it.

I would watch every episode as I want to see your reaction to each development in the story, though I do prefer one piece, HxH is still brilliant.
