It's an endless fight in the music industry for BTS & non-western artists (also any non-main-stream artists). And the entertainment industry in general globally is just dark & very unregulated. Award shows, charts & streaming platforms are all playing a game that favours/profits the inside players, this is not just for music but filming & any form of art. It's a known fact that companies like Spotify/Youtube/Apple Music etc all have a team to "strategize" what songs/artists should be promoted to "recommended" "top" "Auto-play" list more. So true, because BTS are not in these dark games, the profits goes to BTS or the company to further develop/promote or renew contract with BTS rather than those platforms. On top of that, yes while fandoms can have "projects" to show support to their favorite artists promote streaming, on the other side there are haters/antis/other fandoms team up to trend projects to kill the streaming or just spread rumors... The saddest thing I've seen is some toxic BTS solo stans support projects by antis on other members' solo song who are not their stans... One thing I can never understand - who listen to the radio more than their own playlist??? Back to Korea things aren't bright for them either... Even today Hybe/BigHit has already been raised to be the "Big Four", they still don't get the same level of treatment by broadcast or the government. Some of those entertainment companies are shareholders of the broadcasts, TV channels and social media platforms, that's why they have the power to suppress BTS/any artists from BigHit/Hybe. Also, have the power to influence the government. Recently, Korea's Ministry of Culture confirmed they are investigating allegations of BTS's rigging music charts in 2017. I mean yes BTS is the rare one where all members received the cultural awards at a young age, but if investigation of manipulation is needed, investigate the WHOLE INDUSTRY!!! It's outrageous and exhausting to see these things never stop... While BTS & Hybe must feel hurt about all these allegations, I hope they see all the ARMY projects and things like these videos showing them "Got ARMY right behind us" (Butter lyrics :D

Well said in the ending that Army is welcoming. All my life i've never felt like i belong somewhere.. i felt really lost. Army welcomed me with open arms and they keep proving it day by day, and probably for the first time in my life i feel like i truly belong and it gives me a reason to live. Also i was just planning on watching this video lol! I knew the surface of how the industry is treating BTS, but seeing it to this extent makes me sad. But at the same time, it really shows how supporting Army is NO MATTER WHAT. Their success is PURELY ORGANIC and they will keep on proving that!💜 (im writing from my laptop and i had to search for purple heart to be able to copy it into here. The page i found has this description for the purple heart. "Frequently used on Twitter in reference to Korean boy band Bangtan Sonyeondan, more commonly known as BTS." We are everywhere💜)
