Hi! I'm a couple days late on this reaction, but wanted to add some things he said in a more in-depth interview. He didn't write the songs, but was offered songs, chose, and put them in order. He was following a story arc from falling in love to being next to her in love, and then the slow but painful downslide the rest of the album. He said it was not personal, not his life experience. And he said the hardest part about the project was learning English pronunciation! I'm so mad he got shoved into the military. He'll be the biggest star in a generation. Those last three lines of Too Sad to Dance fill me with tears. Too much alcohol, friends who have heard it before, phone won't ring, and there's dad - you'll be okay, in the morning you can dance.

This is Jungkook's first album since you had asked and with this one being so good, I am so excited and looking forward to his next one. You were right about Yes or No having Ed Sheeran vibes because he's the one who wrote it and Hate You was written by Shawn Mendes. I feel like Shawn might have written it after him and Camilla broke up but decided to give it to JK instead of using it himself (could be wrong though). Do you also know that Jungkook does 80-90% of the backing vocals, choruses & adlibs for BTS's music along with being asked to do backing vocals and /or collabs with the members solo music too? He went into the military early so that he could go with his other brothers, serve and return with them next year. All 7 of the members have said that BTS's group activities is first priority of which all of Army is so excited for but I think even in the 11 years that Jeon Jungkook has been a part of BTS, I think our JK has only started to show us just how incredibly good he is.
