1 new Invitation to Foundation and "Make your own short movie" in May :-) (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

I´m sorry that I wasn´t posting  new stuff since last week. It´s just: I started with a secret project, and I am not allowed to share anything before middle of May.

I am spending all of my worktime with this artwork right now and this new artwork basically turns into a short movie;-). I think I will land on something like 50 seconds of animation and it´s the first time I include some storytelling. I´m pretty excited about it and I hope it will be something that I can be proud of!

So, May will be all about this project. And I promise, I will share some valueable stuff with you, so you can make your own very short movie. We will talk about ideation, storyboards, collecting references, planning scenes... basically about the whole process behind it. And of course about how I solved some of the shots. I´m honestly super excited to share this with you soon...

...and I just hope I will manage to build something great, so I don´t embarrass myself!

Now let´s talk about  the new FOUNDATION INVITATION.

I was super happy to finally  sell my Cryptro Bugs on foundation ---> https://foundation.app/markusgonser3d and therefore I got 1 new Invitation that I would like to share. 

New artists entered my patreon since the last contest, so I think it is the best idea to make a new contest. Again, I will select the artwork that I like the most.

 Please select your strongest artwork and link it here in the comments. And it would be awesome if you can write down one or even two sentences about the piece and your process. And if you modeled your own assets, please let me know, so I am even more impressed!;-) Contest runs until 17th May.

I think a little contest is the fairest process... I just would love to honor your hard work. I´m excited to see it!

Thanks for being with me, you are amazing and in May... I will prepare some great content. (Please understand... that some months are more intense then others, but you have my word... May will be intense).

I lost my job a few weeks ago and fell into a deep hole. The only thing, what really kept me from giving up, was instagram and those incredibly talented people who give it their all to do incredible artworks. It was always my dream to create ‚art‘, but i have always been working 50+hour weeks. Now i have the time and the possibility to do exaclty that and see, where it will lead. My entry symbolizes a hard, rocky desert, without any signs of hope and a dead environment. (My old work life) and the steps towards a new, fertile life, many new possibilities, hope and a happy new world. Voíla, i hope you like it. I used Cinema4D/Octane and Megascans. I took me a while, but i enjoyed every minute of it ✌🏻

What a story, buddy! I have a similar story to tell, but...of course different. I worked for 7 years in a job I hated, because I suffered from depression ( my girlfirend died from cancer and I had no hope).
