I'm having trouble figuring out how I can link the emitter to my object like you have yours setup in the beginning of the video - any tips on how I can create or find an art-d map for my glass object as well? :D Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Hi Barett, first: thanks for becoming a patron! Sorry buddy but can you tell me the timecode in the video? "Linking the Emitter to my Object" you said. If you mean, emitting particles from a certain object then just set your emitter in the emission mode to emit from object. Then drag and drop the object you want to emit from into the little box. Now your particles will emit from the object.

And please, tell me what you mean with art-d map. Then I´m sure I can help you;-)

Gotcha - thanks for the tip on the emit from object - it makes much more sense now! As for the art-direction map(s) you used on your object, the timestamp I'm confused at would be 4:33 - I'm not sure how I can achieve the same look/get my materials to look like that. Thanks again for the help!

nevermind me, I got mixed up with the links and found the video where you describe the art-d maps. My bad!
