I attempted to write an accompanying story. I'm not a writer, it's a first draft, it's mega cringe, this is your warning. I wanted to challenge myself to capture the feeling of that first time you walk outside and the weather is suddenly not summer. That turning point where autumn creeps in and never turns back to summer. I LOVE that feeling. The accompanying smell, the run back into the house to put pants on instead of shorts. At least that's how it is in southern California. I can't speak for other locations.

Anyway, to capture this I wanted to use textures, flex my knowledge of color theory and kind of make it look like a retro print. I think this piece turned out pretty incredible. I may use SFW version to signal boost but honestly, no one follows AwareBear for SFW so I probably wont.
