Buddy Boy Game Release and some misc tiles (Patreon)

Hello! I hope you had a good weekend. Today's post is something a little different, and hopefully fun!

This weekend I put together the final chapter of this little game, so it's exciting to have this project completed for today.

You might remember Crime Boy: Cowl of Justice from a couple of years ago. This game was made the same way; as a chain game created by a series of contributors. And honestly this one came out even better. A lot of it is really laugh-out-loud funny.

There's a web version-- right now it still has a few small problems that I'm gonna try to fix over the next day or so-- but it's playable! 

The web version well be more accessible for most people, but the best experience would be from downloading the game (the download link is at the bottom of the itch page). If you download it to play it that way, you'll need the RM2K3 RTP.

(which you should have anyway, right? RM2K3 is tons of fun and it regularly is on sale for only $2) 🤓

Here's a small set of some miscellaneous tiles that I created for this project.

(Warning: Tiles sheet might hint at spoilers for the game itself!)

• Buddy Boy Miscellaneous Tiles Sheet (16x16) 
• Buddy Boy Miscellaneous Tiles Sheet (200%) 
• Buddy Boy Miscellaneous Tiles Sheet (300%) 

There's not much on that sheet, because: most of the tiles that I used in the game were recolored or edited versions of Time Fantasy/Future Fantasy and Time Elements tiles that you can already find elsewhere. Buddy Boy also makes heavy use of the previously-shared Fast Food tilesets.

But it's something. I'm always trying to give you fresh stuff when I can, even if it's small. ;)

Okay-- I'll be back later in the week with some fresh new assets inspired by the request thread. I already have an idea of what I want to do.
