Open RTP Full Patreon Pre-Release (Patreon)
Content
Hello! Today's release is a big one.
My original plan for today was to make something based on patron requests-- probably a flying dragon for use on the world map, that sounds like a cool idea.
Instead, that'll come after the weekend-- because last night, I finished the OpenRTP tilesets!
So for today's release, I put some extra time into re-formatting all of the new tilesets that I've made over the past few weeks -- so now they're compatible with modern RPG Makers (MV/MZ). This should make them useful if you use those engines.
And of course, I also have the 100% (16x16) versions of the tilesets, in the original RM2K/3 format. The 2K/3 versions will be released free to the public domain, probably sometime next week. For now, consider it a special patron pre-release.
I've previously shared the World, Exterior, Interior and Dungeon tilesets. The last one that I just finished up is the Ship tileset, so that's new for this release.

On a personal note, I'm really proud of this little project. I spent all my middle school and teenage years playing with RM2K/3, and there's something really fulfilling about recreating the entire RTP tiles. Sure, I've made *more* than this already with Time Fantasy... but this seems like I've accomplished something that I wanted to do my whole life.
I'm looking forward to releasing these sets as a way to give back to the hobby that has given me so much.
Thank you so much for your support here on patreon. Without you, I wouldn't be able to work on projects like these.
And speaking of projects... the next big asset release will be more Elements stuff. So stay tuned.

Anyways, -- have a great weekend. When I come back next week, it'll be with some new world-map themed releases based on patron requests.
Thank you.
