Hello! Check these out:

This weekend I got back to working on my little platformer side-project, Jubilee (the beta is available for patrons-- I'm still open to feedback!).

It's a nice change of pace for me, because of the shift to the side-view perspective. TBH I've hit a bit of a lull recently after working so much with RPG-style tiles and character animations -- and shifting to work on this other genre has been a good kickstart for me!

One of the big things that I've been doing for Jubilee is making tilesets and backdrops for the environments. And of course-- that means a lot of foliage.

It got me thinking... I know that one of the popular patron requests is more plants-- more bushes, flowers, trees, etc-- can never have enough foliage variety! I wanted to try a little experiment with some of these graphics I was making for Jubilee, and this seemed like the perfect time:

The leaves on these bushes were originally created for vines for a side-view perspective. I took them and edited them to work as bushes for our usual RPG top-down style by adding some additional depth. Then I went ahead and added some simple extra varieties with some flowers (you'll recognize the flowers on the bottom bush from the TF Japan release) --and of course, I edited the colors so they will fit in with Time Fantasy graphics.

I think the result is pretty cool! I hope that you are able to make use of these.

Like all me tile add-ons, these are arranged in a regular grid so they can be easily added to any existing tileset.

I'll be back later this week.

Maybe with some more like this? If you want some more general foliage and plants, I had fun reworking my platformer bg tiles into a different perspective, and I'd be open to playing around with this some more. Let me know what you think...

Thanks!

I love these! Having more foliage and plants would be awesome - can't say no to more variety for environments!

Agreed! I'm excited to use these but I'd be happy to see more
