Forest Trees and Canopy (Patreon)

Hello! I have a big tileset add-on for you today.

I've been promising these tiles for the last few updates. This set builds off of these terrain tiles and the trees that I previewed earlier this week.

Hopefully it's clear why this little expansion is this week's only real release: these foliage tiles are pretty complicated. I think there's still some room for improvement-- but at some point, you just gotta be able to put it out there! I'll probably revisit these some time in the future...

Anyway, I have these arranged in a TileB format for use in RPGMaker, as well as a general tilesheet that includes the terrain tiles. These tiles can get a little complicated, but with a little experimentation it should come together well enough. I tried to arrange the set in a way that's intuitive, and my preview image can probably give some guidance as well. As you can see, the canopy has a black and green variation, depending on your personal taste.

The trees are designed to work nicely at three-tiles high (as in the image) or two-tiles high (remove the middle vertical tile). Higher than that and they might not look seamless.
