Update Post (SV Battlers, Omega Modern, 1Thou Goal) (Patreon)

Hi! I wanted to drop a small post with some quick informational updates.

Side View Battlers

Side View animated battlers are coming along. A little slower than originally planned-- just because I have a lot of projects going on at the same time-- but we're getting there. Today I finished up some more of them (the big gold and red knight characters!). Now I have 32 side-view battlers done -- the first four sets of 8 characters are finished. There's only one more "regular" sheet of 8 characters from the base Time Fantasy set to do.

There's also the three "military" sets-- should all of the military characters get full animated battlers too? Not entire certain-- they're meant to be a bit NPCish, but I can see the benefit. Would take time. Depends on what your thoughts are.

As for the actual "NPC" sets-- they're not getting animated battlers. :P

Then there's three sets of eight heroic-type characters from the "Monsters" Time Fantasy pack. I'm planning on doing them as well.

Omega Modern

Last week I shared a major beta download as a preview of this upcoming set. I'm really proud of this set, to be honest-- it's what I always wanted the original Old School Modern set to be: I've improved so much since that first release and I'm looking forward to releasing this one.

I want to add a lot more to the set as well, to really make it a "complete" pack-- so it'll probably be quite some time before it gets a proper official release.

In the mean time, I really look forward to hearing from those of you who downloaded the Omega Modern beta. Feedback, questions, suggestions for more-- and show me some screenshots of what you've made with it! :D

1000 Goal

It seems that we reached a major goal. We usually drop a bunch at the end of each monthly cycle, so this might not "stick" just yet.. We'll likely reach the goal "for real" sometime during next month or two.

In which case-- what kind of ideas do you guys have for a super special mega release? Another tileset poll is always an option, but I'm open to doing something even bigger to celebrate such a special number. If you have any special thoughts, share them!

Anyways, I'll be back later this week with some more graphics. I have at least one more patron request planned for the month-- maybe two.
