Lo-Bit Overworld Buildings (Patreon)

Hello! Today's release is based on a patron suggestion.

These are designed to expand on my Lo-Bit style. It's likely that I release all of this stuff as some sort of complete asset pack soon!

If these look familiar to you, it's because they're based on these ones that were originally created for the Time Fantasy style's new overworld collection. Of course, it's never as simple as just recoloring them-- boy, that would have made this easier! It was a challenge to translate them while keeping to the color limitation that I'd set out for the style...

... which is why this sheet also includes some variants that don't quite adhere to those colors limitations. You can see some of these in the preview image above, too: specifically, the houses that have some green bushes built into the tile.

Now-- this might make sense here because the grass tiles underneath them would be using the same greens, so if we imagine that a retro console was displaying these, it would be perfectly acceptable with some layering. I'm not gonna worry too much about the specifics-- that's my cope to allow it! 😅

If you're a lo-bit style purist, then stick to the assets on the left side of the sheet. The ones on the right have more colors than my original limitations.

The set includes houses, villages, and some extras like temples and towers. Everything fits into a 16x16 tile space. I hope that you find these to be useful!

Remember: like all of my tile add-ons, these are arranged in a regular grid so you can easily add them to any existing tileset.
