Stumbled across this while sorting out things in the new house and thought I'd share the story. Check out the attachments and have a listen while reading!

So, just over a year ago, I was browsing Discogs.com. Discogs is kind of like the ebay for vinyl records and I'd have a look on there every now and then to pick up a few cheap records that are no longer in-print. For whatever reason I typed in "WWE" and "WWF" search terms, and to my surprise, a white-label promo vinyl of the 1993 WrestleMania song appears in the results. A white-label / promo record can sometimes be rare, these are records that were sent to radio stations, sister labels and / or DJs to play the songs before release... sometimes they include demo mixes, sometimes they include un-released mixes. Seeing as I use the Mania song for the Wrestling Bios intros, I knew I had to buy it and see what was on the record (it was ridiculously cheap anyway, like £1 if I remember correctly).

The vinyl arrives, I put it on the record player... and my god! I think I've stumbled upon an unheard version of the WrestleMania song. I had never heard it before, I searched online for extended versions / albums versions etc and I couldn't find a match for this white-label mix.. so I got pretty excited and got in touch with Jay from OSW. Jay had a listen, and he thought it needed verified from a friend of his who collects theme music, a theme music connoisseur, the Vandendberg of Entrance Music. Jay sends away the music file, we wait, and god-damn it.. it's a version that was actually included in the UK single. It's a little hard to come by online and having a good condition, white-label promo of the mix is still pretty cool, but it wasn't the holy grail I was expecting it to be. Personally I had never heard the mix, but at one point it was easy enough to come by (if you purchased the CD single). To my knowledge it isnt on YouTube.

I'm pretty sure only myself, Jay and Jay's mate would have the vinyl rip of the song (unless it was shared out by one of those guys). So check out the attachment with this post, I've uploaded the vinyl rip for you guys to have a listen and you guys can keep a copy too. If you're familiar with the original song, you'll notice how it's been extended, with the beginning and end looping the instrumental a few times.
