Getting to watch all my Silvervision WWF ppv DVDs again and then I watch your reviews of the shows. I watch the WCW ones on the network, then watch your reviews. Obviously the Hart v Austin match was amazing, but I felt the interference in the final was a pain in the ass, but not by Bret, a ‘pain in the ass’ was what it was designed to be from Hart - I liked that, as he’d been screwed out of it so many times, but it was the interference from HBK which annoyed me the most. Shaun Michaels didn’t need to be there. He says something on commentary about Bret, ‘just being bitter because the limelight isn’t on him’ and The King aptly replies, ‘That’s the pot calling the kettle black’. Even more annoying is after Taker wins it, all you can here is, presumably (as the other commentators would have known not to), Shaun Michael’s clapping Taker during his entire celebration. HBK’s clapping is proper distracting. Admittedly, the only time I’ve been a fan of HBK was when he was a the commissioner of the WWF around 1999. This was The Undertaker’s night and while I felt Bret Hart should have been there, HBK should have been back in San Antonio continuing to ‘find that smile’.
