Be interested to see what you all think of the new Exorcist, I saw some posts that had snippets of dialogue that looked really embarrassingly bad, one was where the mum from the original blames patriarchy for why the priests wouldn’t let her take part in the exorcism ceremony in the original, why would anyone want to participate in that or even be present when the girl is being insanely violent, masturbating with a crucifix and using telepathy to throw objects at people? I’ll give it a miss

Very poignant points about sequels, remakes and prequels Sharks. Hunger Games just premiered their prequel. I suppose that hasn’t been around long enough to remake though. Relatedly, are we seeing the beginning of the end of super hero movies’ dominance, especially considering The Marvels not meeting revenue expectations?
