Nah Tariq definitely started it. They were good until the day that Tone corrected him on Opportunity Zones publicly and Tariq's ego couldn't handle the correction. Right after that moment on Twitter Tariq decided to burn the house down. I still support ADOS and stopped listening to Tariq.

RE Alex Jones, back in the day, pre-9/11, his bread and butter was ranting against cops. I grew up in Austin and used to love watching him tear the local central Texas PDs apart on his cable access TV show. He produced a great documentary about the Williamson County Sheriff's department, which is notorious for looking for excuses to ticket and arrest people because that's where most of the county's revenue comes from. He interviewed a bunch of Black people who'd been profiled by the sheriffs deputies. Dude was actually righteous on a few issues until he saw how much money conservatives brought in after he started attacking Obama.
