He served as economic advisor to governments and multinationals and founded the Healthcare Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Macedonia. Collaborated with IMF, WB, and WHO. Hi. I discovered your podcast quite recently and I've been listening to old episodes. Has anyone ever complained about this one before? I was a little disappointed, I think because Vaknin's narcissism is quite blatant throughout the discussion and he didn't really sound like he knew what he was talking about. I looked him up and his PhD is in Philosophy (not Psychology) and the university he works for seems a little dubious based on its Wikipedia article (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Federal_University#Degree_mill). One of the first search results I found when looking him up was a Quora thread that claimed he was a fraud (https://www.quora.com/What-made-you-finally-realize-that-Sam-Vaknin-is-a-fake-and-a-fraud-Did-you-figure-him-out-quickly-or-did-you-fall-for-his-charade-first?share=1) and he's apparently been convicted for securities fraud in the past. Obviously I'm not an expert in this field either but I worry that a narcissist is likely to prey on those who are ignorant of the topics they claim to specialise in. Just out of curiosity, did you know about his background before recording the interview?
