In 1hr:16min about the paywall. Let not forget everything is subscription based. For instance, I needed Adobe just for 1 PDF conversion. Yet instead of just paying for that one time use. I had to subscribe to it then go back in and cancel it. When it came to newspapers you may had just bought that 1 or 2 for the year.

I find that just subscribing to the free email alerts for most websites is sufficient for me. I can always go to the public library if I want to read the actual physical newspapers &/or magazines. Here in Chicago, our libraries have a thorough & diverse selection of periodicals, along with the CPL app, which allows requests, holds, & downloads of various media & movies.
