Today we welcome Dr. Jared Ball to discuss the myth of Black buying power.Jared A. Ball is a father and husband. After that he is a multimedia radio and television host, producer and journalist. Ball is also a founder of "mixtape radio" and "mixtape journalism" about which he wrote I MiX What I Like: A MiXtape Manifesto (AK Press, 2011) and is co-editor ofA Lie of Reinvention: Correcting Manning Marable's Malcolm X (Black Classic Press, 2012). Ball is an associate professor of Multiplatform Production at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. and can be found online at IMIXWHATILIKE.ORG.Discussed in the episode:
