Horse looks well fed and healthy for a barbarians horse. And saddled even. These are not 'Mongol style' steppe ponies I assume?

It does not pretend to be a small horse. In the end in the games they have the same stats as an Imperial or Bretonnian warhorse. We thought about it at first but in the end we opted for battle horses. What we did use is an archaic saddle. It's called a horned saddle and it's from Roman times. It is very typical of people who do not know the stirrup.
