Hello people... or world, last one would be a classic for anyone learning how to program in the dark ages. Anyway!

Man I can't wait until this scene set is done, it isn't hard to do, it doesn't take long to render, but good gods the fiddling with little things drives me insane. And don't get me wrong, DAZ Studio is a tool, a good tool for what it is meant to do, but I would wish there would be a button that would make the lightning work with one push of a button.

Or the fact that they should make the "snapping" that MICK2 (Medieval Interior Construction Kit 2) has as mandatory to all building kits. Or that they should have certain tools.... rant over. Anyway.

Two and half scenes to be do sort of, image plan is nearing completion... and I forgot to make the other creatures I need... f... Ah well. Writing has been stalled, but not worried of it one bit since I'm done building complex sets for a while so I can focus on it while doing renders. Aaand just saw the render and I LIKE IT! I would like to claim it is purely from skill and careful placement of the objects in it but... yeah I didn't actually think the placement that well. And with that, the render is by the way the preview, typing this while I'm rendering it.  Granted, I'm doing post work for yesterdays pictures and 5 other things at the same time.

I wasn't really in most motivated mood thanks to the annoying fiddling that the sets and lightning needed to be right. But after that... okay yeah it was worth it. Even though I forgot how bright the spell effect the gorgon had. You folks have a good evening, morning or day, or night to our friends in the land down under. Or there about. And I'm heading back to rendering with reinvigorated motivation.

snapping is already a feature you just have to turn it on. Open your tool settings then change the active tool to translate, rotate, or universal. Then go down to the snapping section and enable it.

Good to know, apparently it didn't irritate me enough to look it up ^^ Granted, with my working style it might had not really made the building any faster.
