The demonstration in the video is part of my recent research, and the projector finally supports cloth! This is a breakthrough.

Back to business:

Thank you for your continued support and feedback.

In view of the valuable comments made by supporters under the previous post.

After my careful consideration. I decided to make the following changes to the way the plug-in will be released in the future.

1.Some creator-related plug-ins continue to be activated in the same way as the "Universal Creator Pack". Unlock the paid functionality of all the plugins in the pack with a single activation.

No more plug-ins need to be activated separately.

2.The other types of plugins still work the old-fashioned way: they don't need to be activated, the free version and the paid version are different resources, sponsor me and get paid resources. After the plugin is developed, it will eventually be released to the community in a completely free form.

3.Paid plugins (all types of plugins) With support, paid features are gradually unlocked with updates. When the final development is complete, the plug-in will be released completely free to the community.

I'll make this very clear on the plug-in web page and the plug-in UI, and enforce it.

That said, if you don't want to support or have doubts, you can always wait until I release a completely free version later.

4.I publish all the plug-ins in the free zone. Versions released in the free zone lock the ability to edit some parameters.

5.Some plug-ins that have been developed now will be released to the community for free in the near future.

I think there are many advantages to this release:

1. My cost of maintaining a plugin is reduced, and I only need to maintain one version of the plugin (because free and paid are essentially a resource). This gives me more energy to develop more powerful plug-ins.

2. This approach is creator-friendly. Because the free version has complete functions and does not affect the normal use effect. In other words, for example, a creator used full version plug-in to create a scene for players to play. Players only need to download this free version to experience all the effects brought by this plugin in the scene, without any additional operations. This is more convenient for creators to share.

3. It's also relatively balanced to keep my Patreon subscription, because it makes the plugin resources better spread.

Do you think it's possible to make a plugin that could take a regular 360 degree image and turn it into a skybox in VaM?

PluginIdea

Yes, and fortunately. The upcoming MetaVRPlayer plug-in natively supports this feature.Of course, its ability far exceeds this.

Noise

Yaay! I thought of this after seeing this link: https://skybox.blockadelabs.com/ It's an AI that makes 360 degree skyboxes from prompts...

PluginIdea

Here are some demonstrations of plug-ins.This means that you can even make sky balls with videos.
