When I offered on Monday to make videos answering your questions today, I thought I would get 4 or 5, but to my surprise I got about 10 times that.

Needless to say, I'm not hiding any extra hours or days up my sleeves anywhere, and I have other full-time jobs, so answering your questions is going to take more than one day. I will try to find the time to answer the rest of your questions over the next week or so. The nice thing is that, since I'll be back in the "homeland" of Colorado/Wyoming (for spring "break," as students call it), you might get your question answered in a video that has a prettier backdrop than a near-empty office in Berkeley.

Thanks again for your questions and interest, and all the best to you.

A question re your video response about the Norns: In saying that the Norns are akin to guardians of a tribe each culture having their own), could that then make the Irish Banshees a type of Norn also?

They certainly might be a related conception. There are a lot of shadowy female supernatural figures that seem similar to this in Norse tradition too, like the fylgja and dísir (which I might need to make a video about eventually).
