Here is an updated list of all upcoming interviews (starting this Sunday) that are at least 80% definitely scheduled, with links where they're closer to 98%.

As usual, times are local to me (U.S. Mountain time). Use timeanddate.com to find the time in your local time zone (using "Denver" to stand in for my time). Keep in mind that different countries will enter daylight savings time on different days during the spring, so it's probably best to verify that the time difference is valid for that particular day.

· Sunday, April 9th, 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time
Patreon Interview with Myhal Kushnyckij on Carpatho-Rusyn, a minority language in Eastern Europe, with discussion of how mutual intelligibility affects what we consider different "languages" vs. different "dialects."

· Sunday, April 16th, 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time
Patreon Interview with Meghan Sullivan of History N' Games on playing video games with an eye on their use of historical sources. Meg has also interviewed me in the past.

· Sunday, April 23rd, 11:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time
Patreon Interview with Dr. Corinna Salomon on Etruscan-derived local alphabets in the Alps (like Lepontic, Raetic, etc.). Dr. Salomon is one of the top experts on the alphabets that I'm most interested in as the potential source of runes.

· Sunday, May 21st
Probably a Patreon Interview with Professor David Stifter on ancient Celtic languages (Gaulish and Lepontic) that used Etruscan-derived alphabets. A companion to the interview with Dr. Salomon.

· Sunday, June 4th, 10:00 a.m. U.S. Mountain time
Patreon Interview with Vedic scholar Michael Fiden.

There probably won't be any more than that during April or May because I have some heavy travel obligations during May. I still need to work out when I'll hold office hours in April and when Simon and I will record episode 4 of Beowulf, but I'll be back with those updates soon I hope.

All the best for now,

Jackson Crawford

P.S. Your Patreon messages often don't reach me, and vice versa for my replies to you. I don't get notifications for them, and there's nothing on my home page to show me when there is or isn't a message. I can't even always see them when I check for them manually, and you won't see it if I reply! The best ways to get in touch are: a) just to comment on posts like this, b) to post in the  Community page, or c) to email Stella at [admin AT JacksonWCrawford.com]--remember the 'W' between my first and last names in that domain name.

And I of course missed the Carpatho-Rusyn interview. But hopefully I can make the two on Etruscan and Alps alphabets. It’s a fascinating subject.
